It's daylight so he's not alive yet, the Natural History Museum was really fun to walk through, but I'm sure more fun at night. :)
Pinkberry! We need one of these in Utah! It was so good! I had passion fruit yogurt with kiwis and strawberries on top. Amazing!
The Washington Arch, a little taste of Rome!
The Empire State Building! It was really fun to see it, finally!
Or I'll take the Lego version, King Kong made a few appearances in the gift shop! Do you like my hat? It's a typical NY souvenir.
Downtown New York, the Statue of Liberty is off to the right and the WTC buildings would've been seen from this view.
Serendipity 3! The restaurant in the movie, of course! We ate there and had their famous, frozen hot chocolate!
The Boathouse in Central Park! Ohh, romantic! Now I just need a guy!
My first NYC hot dog, tasted pretty good!
Grand Central Station, I made my train!
Oh, and I found out the Titanic Exhibit made port in NYC, finally, and I couldn't help but go! It was so awesome! My favorite part was feeling how cold the water actually was for those who perished in the sea. They had a huge frozen iceberg that was the temperature of the water, oh man, I wouldn't have lasted a minute!
Brooklyn Bridge, I took this picture from the Harbor Cruise I went on. What an amazing bridge!
The WTC site, still seemed a big hole, but they have begun building the Freedom Tower, to be done in 2012.
Hello from the Big Apple! Why is it called that? I never figured it out, but I had a great time! I went with three other girls from my ward. We arrived that afternoon and once we got unpacked at the hotel, we took off on foot for Times Square. Yet had we known, we would've taken the subway because it was a 20 block walk, needless to say, we took the subway from then on. The pass was so worth the money! So a few features of my trip were seeing the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, rollerblading in Central Park, the WTC site, a harbor cruise, eating at Serendipity 3 (the restaurant in the movie Serendipity), 4 Broadway shows (The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, The Little Mermaid, and Mary Poppins...all amazing, I could barely believe I was actually at Broadway seeing shows), the Titanic Exhibition, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Grand Central Station, eating a hot dog in Central Park, seeing the city from the top of the Empire State Building, Union Square, Washington Square, Lincoln Center, Manhattan LDS temple, and many other wonderful sites and memories.
I have finished moving to my new place. I now live at Turnberry Apartments in one of their townhouses with a friend from my ward. She's also a nurse so its a lot of fun, we have a lot in common and can share our work stories! This new place has a pool, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts, which I am very excited about! Yeah, come and play with me. Well I will talk to you all soon! I wish you well.
