Viva California

Hola! After graduation, my best buddy Chantel and I decided to take a week road trip to California. But not only did we go to San Francisco, we traveled down to LA and went to Disneyland, Hollywood, and I went to my first pro baseball game (the Angels). It was really fun. We had a great trip! We saved a lot of money by staying with people Chantel's parents knew and we also were able to eat with them a lot of the time. And you can't have a road trip without a ticket, well I guess you can, but! :) Yes, we did get one, on the way to Disneyland out of all places. haha, yah, we made a right turn but we didn't see the "no right hand turn" sign on the light pole. It was not in a good spot and the darn cop wasn't kind to us out of staters. So he ticketed us. But we still had the happiest time of our lives at Disneyland.

In San Francisco, we biked across the Golden Gate bridge. It was really fun! But Alcatraz was all full by the time we got there, so we still need to do that some other time. And to sum our trip up we met Reed in St. George and went fourwheeling in Hurricane with Chantel's sisters family. It was a blast!

Graduated from BYU - as a Nurse!

Yeah! I am finally done! Can you tell how excited I am by the picture. I took these by myself, impressive yah! After 5 years at BYU, I graduated with my bachelors in science in Nursing. What an accomplishment! It feels so nice to accomplish something you've looked forward to your whole life. Except they dont' prepare you for the real, real world outside of college. It's funny, they always say the real world "is college". I found it hard to move to Salt Lake in the fact that all my roommates were so independent and I really had to go outside of my comfort zone to meet new people. But all in all, I love it now and I love my job working in the Infant Unit at Primary Children's Hospital. It was always a place I wanted to work and I'm so grateful I was able to hire on right after my capstone there. My managers and co-workers are great, I love my new job! I'm learning a lot and loving life as a nurse.
