I celebrated my 28th birthday (January 13th) at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, a day after running the Walt Disney World half marathon! Let's just say I was a little sore!

Emily and I and 2 friends, Cara and MacKenzie, enjoyed a road trip to Cali in March! We visited the beach and 3 days at Disneyland!!

My dad and I ran the Salt Lake City half marathon (me) and marathon (dad) on April 20th. It was my third half and dad's 31st full marathon! It rained, we were soaked, but had a great time! My next big race, the Wasatch Back Ragnar! Team "Baby Steps", comprised of nurses from my unit! June 21-22nd!

In May, I entered a few of my photos of Cottonwood Heights, UT into an exhibit at the Whitmore Library in Cottonwood Heights. They will be on display through the month of May and on May 30th, there will be a open house and the winners will be announced. Above, 2 of my 3 photos are outlined in red. It's exciting to see my work on display for the public to see!
And last but not least...I'm going to Europe!! Finally! My friends and co-workers Amber Sherwood and Dawn Bess and I bought our tickets just a few days ago. We will fly out to London August 8th and come back via Rome August 30th! It's a dream come true! I'm most excited to see The Big Ben, windmills, wooden shoes, the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Eiffel Tower, castles, and eating lots of great food!
