I finally got new glasses!

Here's a picture of the new specs! It isn't the best...I know, sorry, but I am way excited about them! I will actually wear them in place of my contacts during the day, when I used to dread the moment I'd have to put my glasses on. Many friends have asked to see me with my glasses on and I've been too shy to put them on, but no more, these babies have "bling bling" on them and with the square frame, I look hot! They will take two weeks to come in, but just wait, you'll see them in person soon!

The first signs of Spring...

And not quite sure what to call this little guy, but I loved how I captured the grass at the roots...it makes the flower look bigger than it actually was!

My new addition...an apron!

My friend Chantel gave me a giftcard to Pier 1 Imports for my birthday and I finally got around to use it! The store has a ton of cute, fun stuff, but other than investing in a dish set (which i'd rather not do right now in life) I saw some cute aprons! The full bib style ones were cute, but once I laid eyes on this one, I didn't turn back. It was the exact price of the giftcard! My favorite part is the ruffles! Love them! Oh and the polka dots! This is my first apron...and there is hope that it will pull out the baker in me!

My latest project...planting flowers!

I bought the pot and the cute glass ball decoration last year, but decided it was time for some fresh spring flowers! I was listening to the musical "Little Shop of Horrors" in my car as I was driving (initially to the gym) and decided to take a side trip to the flower nursery at Smith's to buy some flowers! The musical inspired me! If you've never heard of it, well it deals with a Venus Fly Trap plant who eats humans! Weird I know, its not my favorite musical, but fun nonetheless! I'm embracing spring...come on spring...come! :)
